Privately Owned Autos and Light Trucks
APPLICATION TO PRIVATELY OWNED AUTOS OR LIGHT TRUCKS
Apply Blue formula to fuel tank at 16 US oz. to each 10 US gallons of fuel (80
to 1 ratio). Operate unit until fuel tank is almost empty before refueling. Repeat
procedure each 1,000 mi. (1,600 km). Add Gold formula to crankcase or sump at
16 US oz. to each 5 US quarts engine oil (10 to 1 ratio) each 3,000 mi. (4,800
km) or at oil change whichever is sooner. One US gallon Blue formula will last
some 8,000 MI (12,800 km), one US gallon of Gold formula will last some 24,000
MI (38,400 km). If vehicle is equipped with automatic transmission using conventional
type A or F transmission fluid, add Spica Blue to transmission at a 20 to 1 ratio
(calculate 5% of total transmission capacity and add that much Blue formula).
Repeat application to automatic transmission at each change-out which must be
no longer than 25,000 MI or 40,000 km. If vehicle is equipped with a manual transmission
and recommended lubricant is an 80 to 140 SAE weight gear oil, calculate 10% of
total capacity, drain that amount from transmission and replace with like amount
of Spica Green (10 to 1 ratio) with a total change-out and reapplication each
1,500 hours, 50,000 MI or 80,000 km. The same type of application of Spica Green
may also be made in the same manner and ratio to the differential (final drive
gear box) of the vehicle. For those members of the general public who may own
small tractors, log splitters, etc. with hydraulic systems, you may apply Spica
Red hydraulic oil at a 10 to 1 ratio as outlined under “Specific
Applications - Hydraulic Systems”. See “Formula Sales
to the General Public” for prices and ordering information.
